  1. “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” This quote comes from the mouth of history’s peacekeeper, Ghandi. In my opinion, this quote means that if you want to see a different impact in your world, or the world itself, you have to make a change. Like I said in many other blogs, only YOU make a change in your world, yourself, and your surroundings. No one else will be there to make your decisions for you. If you wish to make a change in your world, you go on ahead and change it, change it for the better. There was one quote that just like one. The other quote said that there were two paths, one that you could follow and one that you could make and you could follow that. A lot of people chose the path that they want to make on their own, the one that they want to be the leader of. The reason why I brought that up again is because this quote and the quote from the past describes how you could change the world in your point of view, be your own leader of changing your life. This quote characterizes how you wish to change your opinion of changing your world and the world around you.
In my life, this quote plays a some-what role. In my life, I needed to make a change in my body. I know I bring up this topic too much but I think this plays a huge role in everyone’s life. I was overweight for my age and I needed to find a way to change that. So, I found CrossFit. CrossFit helps out with your strength, stamina, and the way you act. With CrossFit, it helped me to get stronger, it helped me get conditioned for anything that stands in my way, and it helped me shape my character. In my opinion, CrossFit helped me make a change, so I believe the world should try CrossFit to make a change in their lives. To Conclude, I believe this quote means that you should make a change in your life and how this quote relates on how the world should make a change on the way we should be our own person.

    2. Vinny, I think that your response was great! I really liked it when you explained that only YOU can make a change in your world, yourself, and your surroundings. No one else will be there to make your decisions for you. If you wish to make a change in your world, you go on ahead and change it, change it for the better. I honestly really like this part out of the whole response. You are a great writer and really know how to explain things to the full extent! Good job keep up the good work! I really didn't find anything wrong with your response soo keep doing whatcha doing!

  2. Gandhi once said, "Be the change that you wish to see in the world." I think that if you want to change the world then you have to first take action yourself. Basically, if you want everyone to change their ways then you first have to change your own. For example, in our society, a lot of people keep saying we're destroying the planet and that we need to change how we live and be more eco-friendly. But out of a lot those people saying we need to change, probably only about ten percent of them care enough to change themselves. They expect everyone to do it first. But no one is going to change and take on a less luxurious life unless someone else does first. If you want to change the world you must first change yourself.
To me, this quote is basically saying that if you want change, you have to work to make it. An example from my life is that I want there to be no more bullying in schools. So I stick up for the people that everyone makes fun of. I always try to give the kid who no one knows, but still judge, a chance. Because if the roles were switched, you know you'd want someone to give you a chance. I want change, so I try to make it. Maybe one day there really will be no more bullying. But that's a change everyone has to make.

    1. Jared, I agree on what you had to say about this quote. I liked how you put this quote into Eco-friendly hands. That is one of the most useful and important ways to change the world. Also, I liked how you described how this quote plays a role in your life. You always have to stand up to people if they are bringing you down. To conclude, I totally agree to what you said.

    2. I agree with your way to carry out the quote. First, you do have to take action to yourself. To make changes you have to work at it. Like you said, everyone just expects everyone else is going to do it first. I agree with everything that you said.

  3. "Be the change you wish to see in the world" I personally think that this quote means that if you want to see better days you must start with yourself. Theres about 7 billion people in this world & one person can't change that because there is always going to be negative people but you need to remove yourself from bad people & rise above.. Everyday if you try your hardest & show it people around you will soon enough start to see how precious life is & will hopefully follow your mindest... Society is nothing pretty & if you can break out of the rules society trys to lay on you , you will gain most power to succeed more than ever. You can literally do whatever you want in this world & you should never let anyone bring you down.. the way you think & present yourself will determine your future..
This quote can actually relate to me a lot because during my life all ive ever seen was pain & now that i've grown up I realized that there is much more to life & i can do alot to change MY world.. rise above the negative & make the world the way you want it considering you can.

  4. Be the change you wish to see in the world.* This is a quote by Ghandi. To me this quote means that act like how you want the world to act. Basically, if you want everyone to change their ways then you have to change first to make a difference in what you want the world to act like. You have to change yourself and your world around you first then try to change the people that are around you also so you can succeed at changing the world. For example I try changing the people around me because if I don't do that first then I wont succeed at changing the world. But you can't change anyone who doesn't want to change . My mom always tells me you can't teach an old dog new tricks that means you can't make some one change if they don't want to.A lot of people chose the path that they want to make on their own, the one that they want to be the leader of. That's the problem with kids today no one acts themselves has to follow other people because they are scared to act themselves in front of their friends because they don't want to get judged. And that's where bullying comes in because people like to judge other people and I hate that because im always getting judged. But I stick up for people because people are always judging other people so I tell the people that are judging that its none of there business so who are they to judge have they looked in the mirror no so don't judge any one that doesn't affect you at all. that's what this quote means to me.

  5. “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” This quote was written by Ghandi. To me i think that this quote means that you have to change yourself and get yourself where you need to be and than you actually get to see how the world changed. Everything starts with you thats the only way the world changes. It also means that if you wanna see a change in the world you have to change yourself and maybe do something different or change something about yourself. No one else can make decisions for your actions only you can make decisions because its your life and not others. This can relate to our society because people always say that they wanna see the world change but they don’t do anything to help make the change. Like if they honestly think that sitting on the couch is gonna help change the world there's something wrong with them because thats not helping at all. Maybe they should get off the couch and do the littlest things to help change the world but it always starts with you..
Too me i think that this quote “ Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Means a lot to me, i change the world by doing the smallest thing i change the world by throwing my garbage in the trash can after lunch. Its the little things that everyone does that helps change us but even our environment, our society. Yesi mean one person helping out is great but thats only one person in order to change the world you’re gonna need more than one person to help change a world that billions of people live on. Start off slow then really get into helping the world it might not be fun at first but in the end everything will work out great! These are the simple things that help this is what i honestly think that quote means but everyone has their own perspective on things!

  6. “be the change you wish to see in the world.” this wonderful quote from the amazing Ghandi i think is an awesome one. so short but yet so meaningful, i think that has lots and lots of meanings to it for sure! but when i hear those specific words the first thing that pops into my mind is that if you wanna change something about the world you gotta get up of your ass and get it done. dont wait for someone else to do it for you or for it be done, you do it! no one is gonna do it for you, be brave, be bold, stand out and get the job done! i honestly think that is the best way to describe and explain the quote that Ghandi said “ be the change you wish to see in the world.” this quote can be related to our everyday society and i think for sure other peoples societies. for an example, there is a thing called trends. trends is where one person does something different or unique and someone else follows and then it just keeps going on. whether or not it is good or bad things trend without the world and thats how things change. you could start a trend if you try hard enough. this quote even has a meaning to my life because i think that when i hear the words is telling me not to give up and keep trying. for and example at gymnastics when i am working out i see the little girls watching me and saying “ i wanna be just like her” that is the little things i live for, it means a lot when they say that. it makes me want to try harder and keep going! and thats me starting a trend myself when they say that. that is what “be the change you wish to see in the world” mean to me.

  8. When Ghandi says, “Be the change you wish to see in the world,” I think he is referring to our own work ethic and the outcomes of hard work. You can’t get anywhere if you dont try. Don’t dwell on what is bad in your life, focus on the positives and then be the change to all the bad. We have to ability to change but only we can change ourselves. In order to do something, you have to want it and endure will all the consequences that come with it.
Comparing this quote to the outside world, many people in general support a clean environment, yet they do nothing to improve their community. You can't expect people around you to attempt the change you want to see. You are capable of your own actions and to be your own change. Life isnt given to you with everything you want. You earn what you want and your choices affect you and the world around you. Making a difference for yourself also affect everyone you surround yourself with. One thing leads to another and setting an example and being a good role model can really make a difference in the changes you want to see in your everyday life. When you see something you don’t approve of, its important to act on it. Like bullying is another example. If your against bullying, its important to help prevent it and help other kids with problems relating to this issue. It doesn’t help to watch someone getting bullied when you can be the difference. Being the change you want to see in the world can help other people realize what they want to be the change of.

  9. “Be the change you want to see in the world” Ghandi. I agree with this quote 100%. We are the youth. We need to set the world up how we want it when we are old. We have to learn to be more energy efficient to save the Earth. Everyone always wants more and more, but really most of everything gets wasted. We need to realize that we aren’t competing to be the one with the most materialistic value. Money does not buy happiness, some people say you can. You cannot buy a loving family or a wife who really cares about you. You “could” buy anything you wanted with enough money but it’s easy to live without making millions of dollars. People need to realize that making more money than someone else does not make you better then them. The world needs to change and fast. The rich are too worried about making more money to save peoples lives by donating some of their money to charity or certain organizations. Some people donate most of their money to try and help the world as much as they can before they’re gone. Others would rather horde their riches like pigs. People who make millions of dollars should be required to donate money to organizations for research or to save starving kids in third world countries. People are too worried today about new things coming out, who makes more money, who’s better looking, but none of that matters in the long run. Every human is equal no matter their situation. If they’re poor, rich, tall, short, skinny, fat, smart, stupid, EVERYONE is equal. People need to learn that though. Most people are judgemental to an extent, because that’s human nature.
