  1. What I think that this quote means is that the immature love is saying that without that person they person that they love the mod t they will never love any body else in their life. Though what I think that what the mature love means is that he or she loves him or her because he truly does love and will never let him or her down and will never give up to get that person back no matter what stands in front of them. Now the difference between immature and mature is not quite too far apart from each other's meanings. The meaning to immature is mostly described to be negative about things or to not really care about really anything. Though to be mature it means to be nice and to care about just about everything.

  2. Nicolas's blog was very good. I really enjoyed reading his response to this quote.

  3. "Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.'" This quote is well written all around. I feel like this quote connects too teenagers mainly. This really doesn't go towards adults or younger kids so I would say its toward us teens. This blog describes how teenagers are with love now a day perfectly. Its basically saying immature's aren't really in love they just like saying it and believing they are un love. I believe mainly teens say their in love to try to mature and grow up. I myself want to stay young and find true love. Nextly it states mature love means they both need each other. Also their saying they cant love without each other. Tis mature portion of this is really what I believe is true love not fake amature love like half the teenagers think they have around the world. All in all I believe you cant love someone until your mature enough and you cant force it, it comes naturally when you naturally grow up.

All in all Stephen did a good job on explaining this quote.

  4. immature love says,”i love you because i need you”Mature love says,”i need you because i love you.”The immature love quote means they don't really love you they just want you to be their and do what they want you to.But mature love quote means that they need you in their life because they love you.So mature love is better than immature love.Mature love is way different than immature love in many ways.An example of them being different is immature love is when you just want a girlfriend or boyfriend to be cool or to like fit in.But mature love is where you truely love someone and care for each other because have it.Immature love is when you think you would do anything for them, but thats not true love it is immature love.Hence why Romeo and Juliet were immature lovers they killed themselves for each other. That is what we call immature, mature love is when they except you the way you are and care for you enough but not so much they kill themselves when they think you are dead.Romeo decided to kill himself because juliet was under a medicine to make her sleep to skip a marrage. So after he died she woke up and killed herself because he was dead.Mature and immature love are two different things in so many ways and should never be confused by each other.Kids for example have immature love and adults have mature love.Don't cofuse the two and be careful have who you think you love

    1. Bridget in my opinion, did a really good job with her essay. She had lots of great points about what mature and immature love really is. One of my favorite is when she says, An example of them being different is immature love is when you just want a girlfriend or boyfriend to be cool or to like fit in. But mature love is where you truly love someone and care for each other because have it.

  5. "Immature love says,"I love you because i need you"mature loves says,"I need you because I love you." In this quote it has two similar sayings but the complete opposite meaning. Immature love is when you only love somebody, if they give you things or do things for them. Mature love is when, you love them for who they are, and are always there for you nobody else. Mature love is very different from immature in many ways. Mature love is when you cant live with out that person and you have a lot of feelings towards that person. Immature love is when you only say that you love them to get stuff and use them. For an example, if someone is popular and you want to use them for that so you date them, that is immature. An example of mature love is when you love someone for who they are and your not using them for anything. Romeo and juliet there families hated each other but when they meet they fell in love on first sight. But when the families found out about it they wanted to kill them so romeo and juliet couldnt see each other anymore juliets family made her take a sleeping pill so she would forget. But when she went to sleep romeo snuck into her house and found her sleeping but he thought she was dead. So he killed him self. when juliet woke up she found romeo dead and killed her self. They loved each other so much that they couldnt live with out eachother. Now that is the definition on mature love. So dont love someone cause they are popular or give you things, love them cause you cant see your self with out them.

    1. Mike did a really great job with the blog. He showed great examples on mature love and immature love. He also explained how this relates to Romeo & Juliet. He showed really good examples from that as well as some parts from the story. I really like at the ending when he said, don't fall for people who give you things and fall in love with someone you can't live without. Overall, it was a great blog!

  6. I think the quote, “Immature love says, ‘I love you because I need you’, Mature love says, I need you because I love you”, can mean different things. In the quote when it says Immature loves says, I love you because I need you, I imagine a guy seeing a really pretty girl and think it’s love at first sight, so he needs her to love him back. Then, mature love says, I need you because I love you, I imagine a couple that's been together for awhile now and since they have been together so long if they separated they would need each other and feel the emptiness inside of themselves. The difference between ,mature and immature love is that immature love is based on emotion only. IT’s also just based on looks and not so much personality. Immature love is more like crushing on someone or thinking it’s love at first sight but it’s really not. It’s when you like someone because they have a special trait about them you like, like their looks and not their personality. Mature love is not the kind of love that happens overnight. It takes people a long time to truly know what mature love is. Mature love comes with responsibility and integrity. Being responsible in loving someone is to be their for your partners up and downs. To guide them to something that’s going to make them successful because you love them. You have to learn to grow together as a unit to really love each other and trust each other. It’s hard to know whether you really love someone or not. But, when you both have the mutual feeling of true love, integrity, and responsibility that’s when you know you're really in love. That’s the difference between mature and immature love. I think this quote is very powerful and other people should know the difference between mature and immature love.

    1. I agree with Elena's response. I think she did a great job explaining the difference between immature and mature love. I like how she also said that it is not based only on looks but also on personality. I also liked how she said that with mature love comes responsibility and integrity. over all she did a great job explaining her response.

    2. I strongly agree with Elena. How she mentioned that "Being responsible in loving someone is to be their for your partners up and downs." makes a lot of sense. you cant love someone and once things start getting hard you leave. That would be an example immature love. I especially love how you said "Mature love is not the kind of love that happens overnight". You thoroughly explained the differences. Great job.

  7. "Immature love says, ' I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, ' I need you because I love you." I think this quote means that we want love even though we aren't ready because we are not mature enough. The first part is technically about people that just want to be in love but not really in love. We are not mature enough sometimes to think about who we love. Most of the time we break each other hearts and then pick up the pieces. Now the second part is when you come to realize that person is the one because you need the person. You become mature enough to make our own choices and you pick right. That is what I think it means but, I can relate it to romeo and juliet. They were young in love and didn’t know what they were doing. But at the same time they didn’t know how powerful love was. They loved each other more because they saw that there families hated each other. I think because of their families fighting it made them want each other more. Also they were young and they didn’t know a lot about love. When they found each other they didn’t know how far they would go for each other either. I can relate this quote to romeo and juliet in so many more ways but that would be hard. All in all this quote is very good quote and can be interrupted in many different ways. Love is a strong power and needs to be taken seriously.

  8. "Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.” This quote can mean a lot of different things. What I think it means is you know if someone truly loves someone they say, “I need you because I love you” not the other way around. Since, it says i need you first, you know that they absolutely can’t live without you. If you say it the immature way, it sounds like the person is saying i love you because of your needs to me. Really the big difference between, immature and mature love is people that are mature are not rude or stupid but they are loving, and caring. This can relate to Romeo & Juliet too. One way this can relate to it is Romeo needs Juliet because he loves her and no matter what, they need to be together. That is a really good example of mature love. If He didn’t truly love her and he is immature, then he wouldn’t bother risking his life trying to be with her. Another thing is that since they are both from families that hate each other so much, that is why he is risking his life. As you can see, That is why I think the quote means that way. I also explain how it relates to Romeo and Juliet and how that is a great example of mature love. Plus, I explained the difference between mature and immature love. Hopefully, someday you can use this quote to guide you through love someday.

    1. I love Kyle’s perspective on the love quote. Some points he made were like mine and I agree with him. But I really enjoyed his example when he compared the quote to Romeo and Juliet. He thinks they had mature love which is a good view on it. He also relates it to real life in the end and says hopefully we can use this in our lives. But all around I like his explanation the most.

  9. Immature love says, "I love you because I need you," mature love says, "I need you because I love you." What this quote means to me is that younger people have what is called "puppy love," which is immature love, which is love that exists only because the two people who "love" each other want somebody to have to say they are dating somebody, so that they can enjoy having somebody to hold. While this love exists the mature love is a love that two people share because they have a deep emotional bond to each other. Also, because they cherish every moment they have with each other and the thought of being apart from one another makes them sad. The basic difference between mature and immature love is that immature love is love only to say that you are in love while mature love is love that you share with someone else on a deep emotional scale. The kind of love that Romeo and Juliet is both immature and mature. Although it is both it leans more towards immature love. This is because it is what is called a "love at first sight" where when Juliet and Romeo see each other at the party they were obviously not supposed to meet but they still met and they fall "in love" with each other. Romeo completely forgets about the woman he had previously "loved" which I assume was also puppy love because mature love, true love, is permanent and you cannot fall out of love with that person you are so madly in love with. The real true love is a love that cannot be broken by any means at all. Romeo and Juliet's love was mostly immature love.

    1. I agree with Alex when he says that younger people do want to say they are dating somebody. I see it happen all the time. My friend likes someone and doesn't even know them. For all they know, he could be a bad person! Also, I agree when he says: Mature love is a love that two people share because they have a deep emotional bond to each other. I think Alex's response was very well written.

  10. "Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.'" I think this quote means that you have to love someone to need them. If you don’t truly love them then you don't truly need them. Some think they love someone because they need them in their life when it’ supposed to be you need them because you love them. Personally, I think that is true. You have to love someone to need them, otherwise it’s not real love. It’s immature love because you love them only because you think you need them. It’s mature love because you know you need them and you truly do love them. Immature love is loving someone because you think you need them. Mature love is loving someone and knowing you need them. If you think you love them, you probably don’t love them. You have to know you love them. This can relate to Romeo and Juliet because they think fate has brought them together. You have to make your own choice in whether you want to love someone or not. Believing fate brought you together with someone is immature love. Loving someone because you want to love them is mature love. I think Romeo and Juliet didn’t really love each other. I think they just thought they did and thought they needed each other. “Immature love says, ‘I love you because I need you’, Mature love says, ‘I need you because I love you.’” I think this is a great quote that everyone should hear.

Also, since the relation to romeo and juliet is very thourough and is gives many good examples from the text. Overall this is a well written paragraph with few mistakes and a very gripping argument.

  11. A very wise human being once said, "Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you.”. I think this quote could mean different things. But, I think when it says when the love is immature and mature, i think it means the people. For example, in Romeo and Juliet, Romeo says he loves Roseline, but when he sees Juliet, he changes his mind and says that he is now in love with Juliet. That is immature love because he so quickly changes his mind, so to me, thats not even love because he rushing it. So immature love isnt really love at all in my opinion because at a young age, love is used as a tool to maybe get someone’s attention, to use them, or just to fit in with a group of people. You first have to mature and gain certain amounts of knowledge to be mature about your emotions. At a young age, you just don’t know how to juggle your emotions so you start to date without love. And that is a bad thing because then you can get extremely sad and in some cases, even depressed. So, you just wait until you are older and then you know when you fall in love because love is a true emotion that you can sense when it when it happens. Then, when you are older and mature, you will finally know what it is truly like to love someone because you are not young and immature anymore, you are mature and can handle strong emotions like love.

  12. "Immature love says, 'I love you because I need you' , Mature love says, 'I need you because I love you’. I think this quote means that if you are mature you now that you need someone because you love them. But, immature people think that they love the person because they need them. I think immature love is you love someone because you don’t see their cons you only see their pros. But’ mature love is when you see their pros and cons. I think immature and mature love relates to romeo and juliet because romeos example of immature love was when romeo was “ in love” with rosaline. But’ mature love was when romeo is in love with juliet.

  13. "immature love says 'I love you because I need you , mature love says I need you because I love you," means you need the person and want to be with them because you love them not because you need a person or a companion. In a relationship you shouldn't give your all to them but you should give your all into the relationship if you care for them. Your mature if you take a relationship seriously and not use a person just for the fun of it. You go into a relationship so you can care for the person and be there for them through thick and thin. Romeo was immature and didn't know what he wanted he rushed into the relationship and you shouldn't do that.

  14. I think.this is a well written quote . The immature people say I love you because I need you well that says alot saying that your using them and that you only need them for you reasons.not because you love them and you cant live withouth them but because you need them of probably some material reason. The mature people say I need you because I love you saying simply I love you so much that I can not live with out you that u have made me fall in love with you and now that I am I love you . That is real love such as Romeo and Juliet they didnt care that there families had feud or that they would never accept them. One couldn't live without the other they killed over them and everything.thats true love very mature. If you are just using someone other then the fact they make u feel special and that there your everything and you love them that is very immature. Romeo and Juliet that was true love even though I thought u couldnt fall in love at first sight but they proved me wrong. That was probably the strongest love back then. Now a days u cant find that its all about using people to get what they want. Now basically its an age limit on true love society says that an 14 year old can not be in love well only them can decide that and its very uncommon now a days. Everyone has there own opinion and different ways of looking at love and life everyone just focus on theres.
